  • Automatic transmission
  • 25,000 miles
The contact owns a 2007 Nissan Titan. The contact stated that while driving 30 mph the vehicle became difficult to stop due to the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal being too close to each other. The dealer stated that there was nothing they could do. The contact stated the manufacturer should design a brake override system to prevent a crash if the brake and accelerator pedal are engaged at the same time. The contact stated a crash could occur if the contact had to apply extreme pressure to the brakes and accidentally hit the accelerator pedal. The failure mileage was 25,000.
