My 2007 Nissan Titan SE (2WD) on 2 separate occasions has had a rear axle seal failure causing differential fluid to leak onto to the rear rotors and brake pads. The first time was the passenger side and the cost to repair this issue was around $1000.00 because the brakes had to be replaced along with the axle seals. Now the drivers side has started leaking and will have to be replaced. This is a major safety concern because the differential fluid leaks onto the rear brake rotors causing reduced braking ability which could lead to a crash. The rear end of the truck could also catch on fire from the excess heat in the braking system. Nissan should be forced to address this safety issue with a recall as this is very common and costly repair to multiple model years of the Nissan Titan truck.
