Transmission cooling lines broke and sprayed transmission fluid all over. Engine would barely transfer power to transmission causing vehicle to barely be driveable. After being towed to dealership, not only the transmission cooling lines needed to be replaced but also the radiator hoses and the high pressure power steering line. Neither of those to my knowledge needed to be fixed when brought in but was told they were cracked or slowly leaking and needed to be replaced. After 2 weeks and 1500 dollars later I finally have my truck back.

Started smelling gas fumes. Service engine light came on. Took the truck to advance auto to get the codes off of the computer and the tech said it has to do with the engine and that I should take it to the dealer. Dealer says it's the exhaust manifold and it has cracks in it. Would cost about $2000 for parts and labor.

1) my truck brake down on the 91 freeway for lack of gas eventhough the gas gauge registered a quarter tank. Towing cost me over $ $400 2 ) the oil gauge register 1/2 full at all times.when the engine light is on indicating it needs oil or after an oil change, the gauge still registers 1/2 full. 3) my aircondition works well.the heater malfunctions all the time. Sometimes it heats up sometimes it does not. 4) my engine has oil leak..starting June of 2013, whenever I start my engine, I get a lot of blue smoke from the exhaust pipe it last for a several seconds. The more oil in my engine the greater the amount of smoke the less oil the less smoke. I put in a minimum of 2 to 3 quarts of oil weekly in my engine to keep up with the oil consumption.

Both exhaust manifolds cracked. Never heard of this happening on a full size truck before. Potential for exhaust fumes to get into passenger compartment.
- Jericho, VT, USA
The exhaust manifold is leaking and may be cracked, this should not happen on this vehicle.
