My fuel gauge on my truck does not work properly. When my gauge shows a quarter tank full its completely empty. The reason i know it doesn't is because it died on me in the middle of an intersection and blocked traffic. The gauge still showed a quarter tank of gas. I had it towed to an auto repair shop and they ended up putting a few gallons of fuel in it and then it started. I do see that there is a recall for this exact issue ( campaign # R1010 and NHTSA # 10v-074 )and i would like to have it repaired before any serious accident happens.

My fuel pump issue is currently a recall on my truck. I've tried for a month to get it into the local dealership and keep being put off til the next week. It finally quit completely and I had it towed. I was put off another week. I called the following week to be told again it would be another week on my truck. I told the supervisor that wasn't acceptable and was informed if I didn't like how he did buisness to come and get my truck.

Part number 25060-zq60D had to be replaced on my vehicle. Noticed that a cancelled recall on this vehicle had replaced a 25060-zq60B. Same description happened with my vehicle. I was driving and gas gauge was reading a 1/4 tank of gas. The vehicle shutdown while in motion on the highway because of no gas in fuel tank. I made a complaint with Nissan and was told since the recall was cancelled that there was nothing they can do to reimburse me.

After driving for 20 minutes with the cruise control previously on and set and still on but not activated, I momentarily applied the brakes at approximately 45mph then lifted my foot from the brake pedal while approaching a red light that had returned green the truck began to rapidly accelerate on its own without my assistance of applying the accelerator pedal. Quickly recognizing the unintended acceleration situation I immediately applied the brakes and was able to regain control of the truck without incident. I have taken a photo of the instrument panel within a few minutes of the unintended acceleration capturing vehicle operating conditions during the incident. Very dangerous situation that could result serious injury or death. Vehicle information should be downloaded from onboard computers right away. Please identify where the download should take place.
