problem #1

Dec 292010

Titan SV 5.6L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 1,900 miles

seat belt locks upi n rear when passengers are present. It makes them very uncomfortable an they complain to me so I took the "new" truck to the dealer and told me there is nothing that can be done about it... hogwash, I bet the owner of Nissan wouldn't wanna ride in this Titan if he was the possessor of this truck...

Update from Feb 27, 2011: So I took the 2011 Titan to the "Nissan Dealer" and talked w/ the Nissan "rep". I was told that this CANNOT be fixed or changed. So because of the design I will tell my passesngers to not pull the seat belt out too far so the belt will not go into the "ALR" mode(automatic locking retractor). But this is not possible with a larger person cuz they need the extra belt to fasten the latch. So I'm looking at my truck and the headliner is falling down in the rear by the sliding window. WHAT ELSE IS GONNA HAPPEN? Right now it's got only 3000 mi. on the clock at 3 1/2 mo. of driving..... was this truck made on a FRIDAY or MONDAY????
