I am really sick of the automobile industry not building things to last! I bought this truck used but still this should not be a problem this early in the game..shocks struts and I do not even live where there is snow and ice which usually the salt on the streets cause this problem..UGH..I am struggling to come up with the $1200-$1400 to repair being a single mother of 3 the struggle is REAL!!!!

Titan S 5.6L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 42,000 miles

We purchased this Nissan Titan Truck brand new and also purchased an extended warranty for $1,644.00 the same day from Nissan. We took it in last week and they said struts need to be replaced for $850 to $900. Of course NEITHER bumper to bumper warranties cover this. We feel like Nissan should step up to the line and cover this.

We have purchased many Nissan cars and trucks and have not had major problems until now. If they do not come forth and cover some or all of this we will NEVER purchase another Nissan. We have taken more than excellent care of this truck and feel like this should not even be an issue or problem.

We have contacted Nissan numerous times and the " Nissan Consumer Affairs Dept" is a total farce. They are there just to take the complaints and say " there is nothing we can do" . We asked who we could talk to in the corp office and they said no one ! They said the Corp office of Nissan will just send the complaint back to them. So......just wasting a lot of time, energy and is so very frustrating !!!!

Update from Sep 5, 2014: The struts were replaced. Problem has been resolved.

Titan PRO 4X 5.6L

A 4x4 package should not loose a shock in 1800 with no hard 4 wheeling. Rancho shocks are not worthy of the truck. Should install bilsteins.
