Titan PRO 4X Xd

  • Automatic transmission
  • 75,000 miles

I was involved in a car accident where someone was hurt. I own a 2017 Nissan Titan XD with 75000 miles at the time of incident. I was taking a left turn at ta yellow light, I slowed down and then tried to speed up. The accelerator will not respond for 3-4 seconds when I do this, it has been this way since I bought it. Looking online it is a common issue. However this time I could not move fast enough and an Audi slammed into my passenger side because I couldnt move fast enough out ofd the turn lane due to the accelerator delay.

The person in the Audi was injured and his car is totaled. Mine was repaired by my insurance. I had back problems and still have a really bad headache and have not seen a doctor, but intend to now that I see this is a common problem. I called Nissan and when I give them my vin# they hang up on me. I finally got through after saying I might contact an attorney. They said they created a case. I am under the impression now that I purchased a death trap and Nissan is hiding something. They claim this issue does not exist.
