The door handle on the driver's side of my 2007 Nissan Versa came off in to my hand when I went to open the car door. This car has 38,807 miles on it.you can not open the driver's door from the outside and are reduced to crawling in over the gear shift from the passengers side to get in to the driver's seat. I am concerned that the driver's door can not be opened from the outside in case of an emergency or an accident.. oddly enough I saw a girl in a shopping center yesterday. The driver's side door handle was missing from her care which is just like mine and I stopped to talk with her.. our local dealer quoted prices of several hundreds of dollars.to repair my car as well as her car I feel that this problem should be covered under a recall. There seems to be some recalls on other Nissan's like the rogue that have a recall for the door handle falling off and only "service advisories" on others. I will never by a Nissan again. This is unacceptable. If you google this problem on this car there are a lot of postings from people that have had this same problem on this same car.
