Here we go again! After about four years after having a Nissan dealership replace the factory installed heater the heater is out again in the middle of winter. Haven't taken the car in yet to find out exactly what the problem is or what it will cost to fix the problem this time. REALLY disappointed in this Nissan Versa!!! I think a heater should last more than four or five years. NEVER had a problem with the heater in any other car I ever owned, and they were all used cars with more mileage than the Versa I bought new. Would NEVER buy another Nissan ever again!!! Crappiest car I ever owned. Don't know what to do. Have to have a heater to defrost the windshield but can't afford the high cost of the repair.

^he cost is so high for parts and labor and it seems that most parts you got to buy from the dealer.

New fan motor on a four year old car is insane. It would work sometime and then wouldn't work. Bad when you are on a road trip and your air condition fan motor goes out. Took three trips to the shop before they figured out I needed a fan motor.

Bought 2009 Nissan Versa new, August of 2008. Wasn't even five years old and heater went out. Winter in Wisconsin. Contacted Nissan and was told they would not fix the problem because three year warranty was up. Contacted Consumer Protection in Wisconsin. They contacted Nissan and was told Nissan would replace heater if work w as done at Nissan dealership. Took car in to Nissan dealership to have new heater installed and sent copy of repair bill to Nissan for reimbursement.
