This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Nissan dealer.
Cosmetically, this looks absolutely awful and is embarrassing when it comes to my turn to do the driving for the office. My coworkers comment and think my car is trashy. I do not have the money to do what the dealer should have done from the jump. I take responsibility for not making them repair it before it got worse but they should not sell junk either.

Within two weeks of purchasing my brand new Nissan Versa, the armrest covering was falling apart. I went to the dealership and had to wait for part to be ordered. It was replaced under warranty. I now have 100,000 miles on the car and the armrest is again falling apart. It is no longer under warranty so I am fixing it myself or ignoring the problem but this car is made like and Nissan should be ashamed to put their name on it.
( I say this as a result of multiple problems with this vehicle but since I can only list one problem at a time you'll have to read all of my entries to assess the list.)

it is a pain in my ass. the first new car I have ever owned and it's coming apart at the seams. looks like sh*t on the inside and now nissian wont fix it. it was just one month after warranty expired not in miles, 3yr. warranty. they fixed it the first time but now it is, kiss off. will never buy a nissian again!!!!!

Both arm rests are peeling and the the padding is sticking out. It looks really tacky and I am constantly trying to use a screwdriver to tuck the cover back in and hide the fact it looks tacky.
