problem #3

Versa SL 1.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 55,061 miles

The inside door handle on the driver side broke for the 2nd time. The first time was about 25,000 miles 3 years ago and of course they had the record of the first fix. But even though it is obviously a problem they would not cover the $300+ repair. The cable end (ball) that latches into the door handle broke off and of course you can't just replace the cable.

Versa LX 1.8L V4

A real inconvenience. I have to get in on the other side to let myself in or have my passenger open the door for me.

Versa S 1.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 24,233 miles

I just got this car about 4 months ago and was debating between the versa or a LOADED Ford focus (same year). I am starting to regret that decision since I've had only problems with my 09 versa, starting with rattling noises in the middle console, wheel alignment and now the inside door handle unable to open! thankfully I got the extended warranty. I think i'll need it !
