Versa 2.4L

  • Manual transmission
  • 39,000 miles

I bought Nissans starting in 1986, they were a great vehicle, great mileage, virtually no problems. bought a 91, 95, 97. They were all great. Then I bought a 2001, it was junk, no mileage and fall apart regularly. I bought this 2009, which is piece of tinny plastic crap. At 39000 miles the clutch went and I thought it sucked, but that happens right?? My next rant will be about the clutch at 78000 miles. ...

Versa

  • Manual transmission
  • 76,000 miles

This is the second time I have had clutch problems. The clutch is defective. I am sick of this problem. To go up hill is a problem and feel like at any time it could stop working. This is a problem that Nissan should be responsible for.

Years ago I learned to drive a manual and never had a problem with the clutch I had for four years. And I sold the car to my Uncle who had it for 4 more. When he sold it there wasn't any clutch problems. This is a defect.

Versa

  • Manual transmission
  • 48,000 miles

Clutch went out at only 48,000 miles. This seems to a big problem with most Versa owners. Nissan needs to do a recall on this and fix it for us instead of us having to go pay $1500 to $2000 to get it fixed. I was told i need a new clutch assembly and flywheel assembly installed. This is not covered under nissan's crappy warranty.
