The contact owns a 2009 Nissan Versa. The contact stated that the heater in his vehicle stopped functioning and he could not defrost the windows. The dealer informed him that the resistor that controlled the fan failed. The dealer ordered the part; however, it was on a nation wide back order. The vehicle had not been repaired to-date. He called the manufacturer who confirmed that the part was still on back order. The current mileage was approximately 11,000. The failure mileage was approximately 8,500.
