Every time the 2010 Nissan Versa is started and driven it makes a clunking noise in the engine compartment area. The dealership says it is the anti-lock self check brake system making the noise. They agree that it was not manufactured to make the noise but call it normal and won't fix it.
They fixed front coil springs, etc. saying they were defective also but refuse to fix this even though there is a notice/listing about the anti-lock brake system problem. Fairfield Nissan and Nissan corp employee said that it is normal per the dealership and ended the conversation acting as though I was a bother to them.
While rotating the tires (by an apprentice) according to them - the lug nuts were put on backwards on all four tires causing the tires to be off center - causing a rough ride. I had a different dealership check my car and they were upset to find the lug nuts on backwards. The car rode much smoother when the lug nuts were put on correctly and tires centered -big difference. The original dealership- Wyler Nissan in Fairfield, Ohio, name J. L. said sorry but he doesn't care since I complained about their attitude and workmanship.
All we want is the problem fixed as required by warranty requirement.
The defect has been reported many, many times with an expected repair, yet no repair done. In my opinion all prospective buyers should go to a different dealership for a better experience.
