The contact owns a 2011 Nissan Versa. While driving approximately 35 mph, a cracking noise emitted from the front passenger side of the hood. The contact mentioned that this was an ongoing failure. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who was unable to diagnose the failure. The vehicle was then taken to a dealer, who inspected the vehicle and stated that failure was caused by the driving habit of the contact. The vehicle was not repaired and the manufacturer had not been notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 104,000.
