Had muffler replaced twice due to erosion?! the main problem though is that I still have a constant rattling when I'm stopped or car is idiling. This has happened before I had my muffler fixed and after it's been fixed. So I know it's not the muffler. That's a whole other issue. But, the rattling sounds like a loud muffler, but gets louder the more I'm idling. When I start the car it's loud like a corroded muffler, but I just had it replaced, so please look into this issue.

Car making noises when turning. Strut bearings replaced. Recall serviced on front coil springs. Car is at 87800 miles but at 87300 engine started making knocking/pinging/clicking/ticking noises. Took to Nissan. Mechanic said Nissan engineers say this is normal for their 4 cylinder motors. Said he couldn't locate source of sound but possibly cylinder 2 or 3. he told me until check engine light comes on or until engine fails don't worry about me to keep oil changed every 3700 miles and run engine restore products in with oil changes. I tried this the next day, and noise became worse. The car has never been run low on oil, has been serviced like it was supposed to be, never smokes or burns oil, oil always looks clean at oil changes. Since the noise started, there is decreased fuel mileage. Other than that, the sound and it's tune so to speak, have been the only changes as far the engine goes. The suspension/steering still isn't right. After bearings replaced, some noise went away while turning, but now turning either way, when first taking off, vehicle makes weird clunking noises. I'm wondering if it has bad struts?

My wife and I purchased our Versa in March of this year. For the last couple weeks we have noticed that the car has been losing power while driving and it is becoming a hazard as we are trying to accelerate and it is doing nothing. I am concerned as it seems as though the transmission is slipping and for the car to have under 70K miles on it this should not be happening.

2011 Nissan Versa was taken into the dealership for not shifting out of park. At the time, powertrain warranty was no longer in effect. Dealer advised, that the shifter solenoid is not functioning and needs to be replaced. The cost for the shifter solenoid is approximately $600 dollars. I conducted a research and discovered Nissan has this problem with most of their vehicles at low mileage. Nissan has not issued a recall on the vehicle. In addition, the suspension is also making noises and has been diagnosed by an automotive technician, who has advised the strut needs to be replaced. The vehicle makes clicking noised when turning to the right or left. The cost for oem strut is approximately $ $200. I am having to many issues with this vehicle and considered to trade it in if Nissan does not recall vehicles.

I had to attempt a sudden brake and the vehicle made a weird noise. The vehicle then stopped in the middle of traffic and stalled. I called aaa had it towed to temecula ca to the Nissan dealership and checked. Found out that the transmission needs to be replaced and my engine. I have a warranty on my transmission and its covered. The engine is not apparently. What I don't understand is why didn't anyone tell me about the recall, now they refuse to fix my car or help.
