dashboard lights came on while driving - car lost power. I was able to coast into an empty parking lot and the car went up in flames. Flames were coming out from under the hood on the driver's side up by the windshield. By the time the fire company arrived, it was burnt to a crisp. Totaled!. I called Nissan and I got no satisfaction - said there were no recalls on this vehicle. Well, maybe there will be now!. I bought the car new and never had a problem. I told them I saw another incident where the same thing happened to a 2012 Nissan Versa. I was told that if you look hard enough, you can find anything!

There is no other reason for a perfectly fine car with only 36500 miles on it to go up in flames unless there was some type of defect!
