"takata recall" buy my auto used on March 31 of this year in a dealer. On the panel the light of the airbags on and off all the time the time. The seller indicated that I had a recall but Nissan send me a letter explaining the recall and where I had to take to correct the problem. I have not received anything and the VIN does not appear included in the recall for that model and year. On August 21 I recorded and filled the file to vehicle safety complaint but I have also received an answer. I am very concerned with this situation, that a mistake may occur and that afternoon to take action. I hope your response, thank you.

The light on the board of the air bags turns on and off in red at all times when it is on. Buy the car a distributor on March 31 and I made a withdrawal for a defect in the air bags Nissan communicates with me for a replacement but it has not happened. I am very concerned about safety when using the vehicle.

Takata recall. I was notified in the spring of 2017 that my passenger side airbags were recalled and car is unsafe to drive. To this date, despite contacting my dealership for the repair, royal Nissan of baton rouge over 6 times, nothing has been done. I have been informed by royal Nissan that takata has not sent the parts for the repair.

The contact owns a 2012 Nissan Versa. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 17V144000 (air bags); however, the parts to do the repair were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The dealer (champion of Nissan, 24111 creekside, santa clarita, ca 91355, (855) 995-7915) was contacted and confirmed that the parts were not available for the recall remedy. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

Takata recall- I am still waiting for a solution to this very serious problem. Nissan corporation and local Nissan dealer have not given us any information as to when this serious issue will be resolved. I am very uncomfortable having my children drive this vehicle knowing the air bag is not working properly and could result in serious injury or death.

The driver side airbag were replaced but the airbag light still is blinking which could cause the airbag to explode.this light has been blinking for over 6 years... should be under warranty and fixed.. this apparently is a problem with the wiring harness in the steering wheel.as soon as I start the car the airbag light is blinking constantly

This is a 2012 car which I am still driving..every time I call the dealer, which is sutherlin Nissan of fort myers, fl, they tell me that they still do not have the parts. This case is now in bankruptcy court, and my vehicle is still not corrected.

My auto is disabled. Key doesn't turn, the wheels are locked up and noticed that there is hesitation when shifting made a nose. I can't drive my auto at all. I am still responsible for the payments on the vehicle. It doesn't seem like a regular wear and tear issue.

I had my car serviced at david mcdavid Nissan. I had it serviced in August 2017 for the airbags. Then in December my airbag lights came on. Both the driver and passenger lights are on. I took it back to the same dealership and they said there was another recall for the airbags. After a month of the dealership having my car the airbag lights are still on. They told me that the airbag lights being on had nothing to do with the recall

4 recalls ony vehicle. I was rear-ended on the freeway when I was at a full stop because of traffic and a driver behind impacted me at her full freeway speed because she didn't notice the traffic had come to a full stop. I was whiplashed several times, hit my forehead on the steering wheel very hard a couple of times but the airbags did not deploy. There is a lawyer on the accident case but no one at Nissan believed me when the airbags failed to delpoy- I was told the accident may not have been a strong enough impact but again the driver rear ended me at freeway speed (65mph min.) and I and the rest of traffic come to a complete for about 2 minutes. The only other thing I noticed and I notified Nissan about was the passenger seat was not registering that a passenger was in the seat; the display showed that the passenger was not wearing a seat belt but that was not the case.

My car is, what the dealership calls, grounded. Stating it is unsafe to drive. I received a recall. I have been without my car since then. It sits in a lot at the dealership with, what the parts manager told me, with a whole lot full of my year, make and model for this same reason. The 'other problem' is the computer model, which has been on back order since 08/2017. On national back order I was told, which could be the next recall. I am checking by my VIN if this is the case. There are at least 8 recalls for this year Versa, depending on the VIN.
