1) the air bag lights flash on and off without warning and reason. They have not ever deployed (yet). Vehicle is in motion when this happens. 2) my husband's right shoe often gets caught on the edge of the center console panel-making is difficult to move his foot to the brake. We have had two near missed when he was trying to hit the brakes. The vehicle is in motion and these incidences occur when we are trying to transition from accelerator to brake. 3) windshield-a small pebble hit the windshield and caused a little damage. We took it to get repaired (not replaced). It just recently cracked and now the whole windshield needs to be replaced. I have had a couple windshields repaired on other vehicles and have had not had problems. I have called a local Nissan dealer to make an appointment to fix these issues. Recall #"S 17V-144 15V-507

Takata recall - I contacted the local dealer and they said that Nissan isn't providing a replacement airbag until at least March or April of 2018. My college student drives this car in Florida where she goes to school it's humid in Florida and the information I've read states humidity can cause the airbag to deploy. Waiting for a replacement for 3-4 months isn't sufficient.

Takata recall Nissan dealership of my location states that parts are not available to fix the takata airbag recall until spring 2018, and that the vehicle should not be driven. The dealership also states that rentals will be provided to those who are affected by said recall; while this would be fine, it has been over 6 months while attempting to acquire said rental in which the dealership has failed to provide such individuals with replacements. I attempt to contact the dealership every 3-4 days, in which I am consistently told that no rentals are available; and "we normally receive more at the beginning and end of business hours." If attempting to call at said times, the same answer is given. The dealership has offered to take my contact information to inform me when rentals are available; and I have waited over one month with no call back; I have since started pestering them once more, with nothing to show for it. I won't assume that the dealership is holding out on giving takata recalled vehicle owner's rentals as they would receive no currency in exchange for such; but I am appalled that any corporation would allow individuals to operate potentially dangerous vehicles for over six months while treating said individuals with disregard. While I have limited the usage of my vehicle to the minimum, only utilizing it in necessary predicaments such as work Transport; I know not at what risk myself and many others near me face each time we drive due to the incompetence of the dealerships near my location.

Takata recall. The contact owns a 2012 Nissan Versa. The contact stated that the recall notice for NHTSA campaign number: 17V449000 (air bags) was received in November of 2017. After contacting the dealer (a unknown Nissan dealer of turnersville New Jersey) and the manufacturer on multiple occasions, the contact was informed that the parts needed for the recall remedy were still not available and no estimated time for receiving the parts could be provided. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

Takata recall: This is getting just silly. Back in April or may of 2017 I called the dealer about this recall. They said they would fix it, but did not have parts for it yet. He then said parts would be in at the end of summer of 2017 and that they would call when the parts were in. I waited now till Dec. Of 2017 without hearing anything from them. So called today, Dec 1st of 2017 and was told they do not have the parts for this recall. This is not being done in a timely manner. Gary

Takata recall, we recently were told about the recall on our new/ used Nissan Versa. We have been notified the partrs will not be available until 2018 in the spring. Also we were notified that a rental was available free of chaarge from a government letter. Yet fred martin Nissan told us no such thing was available. Then my husband called they said there was a rental available but that we would have to leave our car with them until spring to be fixed and that there was a millage limit that we could not pass or we would be charged. Thiss is ridiculous I would never leave my car that I still owe ten grand on and trust that it would be safe for months in there parking lot. So we are stucking driving the car with our kids knowing that we could get severly injured because of something a company did. It is so wrong that they are making people drive these cars still knowing that we could be hurt and not giving us a realistic option to get our car fixed in a timely manner.

Takata recall I have tried calling the closest Nissan dealership where I have taken my Nissan Versa before for a recall part, to make an appointment with them to replace the airbag and they keep sending me to different departments of the car dealership. I think I'm getting the run-around? instead of them telling me they don't have the part yet they seem like they are not going to honor replacing my airbag. Thank you, melanie
