the undercarriage of my car seems to be falling into pieces. the car has only 57,000 miles on it. it has sat in my driveway for 7 years because i had another nissan, my sentra, which i had for l5 years and it never had undercarriage issues. and i never had all these issues with my sentra that i am having with this versa now that i am free to drive it since i got rid of my sentra after l5 years. the dealer says power control arms pressure forceing grees to be released. and heat shield, repair heat shield ripped off bolts and causing rattling under vehicle. i just paid a $600 bill to that same dealer for that same areas of work not that long ago. why is my nissan falling apart. i had a sentra i had for l5 years and never had trouble with the undercarriage like this. i cant afford these big repair bills. the milage is very low for all these things to go wrong when i never had them go wrong on the sentra for l5 years. did ghosn steal money from versa?

Suspension: Both sides front struts mounts and right side lower control arm, also called ball-joints are defective in just 3 years, right after the 36 months manufacture warranty expired. This is causing the car to bounce at moderate speed and more dangerously so on the highways. The vehicle would wander right to left uncontrollably. Steering U-joint defects: There is an ongoing noise while vehicle is driven and the steering column is shaking up unnecessarily and excessively.

The contact owns a 2013 Nissan Versa. The contact stated when making left turns, a loud clucking noise emitted from the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for a diagnosis. The technician diagnosed that the front driver's side coil spring was corroded. The vehicle had not been repaired. Later, the contact mentioned that the failure became progressively worse causing the left ball joint and strut to fracture. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and refused to provide any assistance since the vehicle was no longer under warranty. The approximate failure mileage was 30,000.

The car wanders wildly at speeds of 55mph + and you are in another lane if the wind blows. Have brought to dealer, had tires rotated, suspension checked tire psi matching etc. It is design flaw with some component, whether it be the car is simply too light, or the suspension is too soft etc. This is a serious safety concern. I have actually been pulled over by state troopers for "excessive weaving", when it was windy out.
