Have had this car since July 2013 and have been to dealership 4 times for various problems such as replacement of right front wheel bearing, loss of acceleration, speedometer inoperable and front end making roaring sound. Now loss of AC and company saying needs new air compressor at cost of $1100. Had two issues fixed today due to recalls which I was never advised of. When I bought the car I was given 1 key for it and told that I would receive a call about the second key never did. Asked about this today and was told by the manager of the Service area that I would not get another key, cannot use key to open door because lock does not work and they will not fix.

Bought a brand new simple car from Mike Barney Nissan in Amherst, NY. Took the car on a trip to FL from Buffalo NY. Car flooded inside because the air conditioner hose (that is supposed to drain outside of the car) was not correctly assembled and drained inside the car, and consequently flooded our car. We were using the car to deliver a couple of cats (a side job) and had to deliver them to a family in south FL on time, but because of the car flooding we had to stop half way and see to the problem. We had to spend money out of our pocket to pay for a hotel room and we lost money, because we did not deliver the cats on time.

My husband figured out the problem (the mechanic we took it in North Carolina had no idea what to do with it and did not want to "mess with it" because it was a new car) and connected the hose back to the car. Unfortunately, by this time the air conditioner was making a very strange gurgling noise.

We went back to Buffalo and took the car in several times to fix the problem, until they agreed to replace the air conditioner. Note: When Nissan corporate was contacted, we were treated very poorly and the rep who "assisted" us at one point very rudely said "These things happen. You just need to deal with it. There is nothing else we can do". We moved to Austin and took the car to another dealership, because the air conditioner was still messed up. They finally fixed the problem. The mechanic there said that the people in Buffalo were hacks and messed up our car.

Currently we have a messed up car (a lot of scratches in the front compartment from the monkeys that "fixed" our car in Buffalo) with a broken glove compartment. Nissan is refusing to take care of the damages and compensate us from the depreciation to our car that this ordeal has caused to our car.

Purchased the car new in March 2014. In November I noticed that the A/C was no longer working. Took the car to the dealer and I was told that the condenser had a hole in it that was caused by a rock hitting it. Since it was caused by a road hazard it was not covered by the warranty.

Has anyone else had this problem? Why would Nissan build a car and not protect the condenser or any other part from something as simple as a rock. I paid a lot of money for this car. I am a student in college it is going to cost over $1000.00 to fix and it is not covered under my warranty. I feel they built this car and that they should fix it. It is a defect if a rock can hit the AC compressor and make it leak, it is no fault off mine and should be fixed by the dealer free of charge. Also concerned because what else is not protected from normal objects that we commonly find on our roads.
