My son came home very upset that night that the car was messing up on him. The blinkers had stopped working, there was smoke coming out from under the hood, he feared for his life. He was hoping he would not get into an accident. With luck, he made it home.

When he turned off the engine and the lights, the passenger light was burned out and the driver side head light would not turn off, so he had to unplug the battery cable. The very next day I took the car in to a near by Nissan car dealership service department. They were very professional and I told them what had happened. They were as baffled as I was, they said this was a first for them. When the service manager entered the car he smelt burned out wiring coming out from the vents. This was 10/04/2014. He told me he will call me next week to let me know what is wrong with car.

As the week progressed, they still didn't have an answer. They told me they were going to bring in a Nissan specialist the next coming week. When that week came the specialist was baffled as well, another week had gone by and they told me another top specialist will be arriving next Tuesday. By Thursday the manager of the service department phoned me and asked if the car had been washed with a butler? I said a butler, what was that? He than told me it was when the car goes through a car wash the spinning rotors may have caused an electrical discharge which burned out the wiring system. I then said your kidding me right? The manager said, he too was surprised with the analysis he was given. I told him my son works in auto detailing at car dealership. If my son didn't have a sticker tag on the windshield from a car wash the specialist would never have come up with that conclusion.

To me this is a theory. I cannot believe this, the only car in the UNITED STATES that had been washed with a butler. My son had his car washed many times with a butler. The manager called me a week later 10/30/2014 told me the car is ready to be picked up, so I came in later that day to pick up the car, as the service mechanic drove the car up to me he then asked the service manager is the AC is supposed to be working. I could see the service manager was a bit embarrass and upset. He then told me it might be a wiring cable that needs to be connected. About 25 minutes had gone by; the news was they had to order me a new part for AC switch. I asked the service manager please make sure all the whistles and bells are working properly before I pick it up. He said that he will personally take care of it.

I received a call today 11/05/2014 that the part will be arriving this coming Friday and my car should be ready on 11/10/2014. I thanked him for keeping me informed. P. S. ARE YOU SURE IT WAS THE BUTLER THAT KILLED MY ELECTRICAL SYSTEM OR IS IT A THEORY? I DON'T BELIEVE THE BUTLER DID IT.
