Versa 1.6L

  • Manual transmission
  • 1,515 miles

Dealer said this problem would occur at 100 ambient or higher, he rebooted and drove it 50 miles and said it was fixed. The only problem is it has never been over 80 ambient . I won't drive the damn thing . Been at shop 33 days and he won't print on the invoice about the 100 ambient or his 3 other attempts. I will pay off the vehicle next week, have it towed home and non op it. The service manger also had some choice names for me and told me to get my vehicle the hell off his lot and he hoped it got repossessed and he was not going to work on it anymore. Very nice. The general manager offered me Nissans direct number, what a big help!!!!!!!!!! See them in court. The sales manager offered to let me trade it in on a new Nissan. Oh!!!! I thought mine was new. Not very professional.

Versa 1.6L

  • Manual transmission
  • 1,200 miles

2014 Versa, 1200 miles. Vehicle has 3 times upon restart acted like it was vapor locking, no throttle response. Dealer said all the codes checked out. Grow up, I told him to take his family for a ride and have it not respond to throttle and get his butt knocked off. The idiot even asked me if I was taking off in 3rd gear as first and third ratios are so close.

They have had it for a week or so. He said he would look at it again Monday. The stupid thing is that he told me to take it home and drive it and see if it did it again, so I told him if no codes showed the first 3 times what was number 4 suppose to do and that was all he could do. The assistant service manager called me and told me he tested my Versa with another new one and the codes are identical so I told I would take the other Versa and he could keep mine, he was very sorry but he could not do that. It is unfortunate that everybody but them is stupid and if it doesn't show up on a computer they don't have a clue. And that is just twelve hundred miles.

Versa SV 1.6L

  • CVT transmission
  • 25 miles

The accelerator hesitates, I had to floor it to go up the hill. I was told it was because its only a 1.6L engine.

So I got it checked out by the dealership and they said the car tires aren't as good. And because the canadian road are "bumpy", you have to change the tire to get the vibration for a little less. The hill I mentioned above was only about 55 degrees. And when idling, the car shakes real bad.
