I have never owned a CVT so after I bought the car, I thought the delay in power and very harsh engagement from low to high gear was normal. However, after some research I figured the CVT was on its way out for sure. Luckily the transmission was covered under an extended warranty, and I ended up paying nothing for it despite the high mileage. Change your CVT fluid and filters, people!
