problem #1

Dec 012016

Versa Note SV 1.6L 4-cyl

  • CVT transmission
  • 17,000 miles

At this point I had owned the car for less than a year and had less than 18000 miles on it. A few months after the first rattling noise had began (and still hasn't stopped) another rattling noise started up. This one comes from somewhere behind the glove box or at least somewhere nearby. This one only happens when I'm traveling less than 25 mph and rpm is around 1.25- 1.7. It's also much more audible than the other noise and my passengers complain it more so. Again: Last effort to have these problems corrected before I go the extra mile to avoid Nissan dealers.

Update from Nov 14, 2017: Note: I have already tried emptying all my cupholders, glove box, etc. out and driving to make sure it wasn't something loose rattling around and it wasn't so now I'm just hoping whatever it is doesn't break when I'm going down the highway and kill me or someone else.
