Originally the fail happened in 2013 and most of the repair was covered between Nissan and my extended warranty thru Gieco, but the problem is that it happened again and they won't cover it! It's a defective part and it sucks to be me. I shouldn't have to pay to have my car fixed again. I will never purchase a Nissan vehicle again and I will tell everyone or anyone not put purchase a Nissan. They don't stand behind the product. When I purchased the vehicle it was "oh it will last for well over 200,000 miles" great so I did at the time minor issues but after the first year, I started having issues that I have never had on any other vehicle that I have owned. Fuel gauge going bad, radiator going bad, timing belt issues, u joints replacements, Almost every vehicle I have owned I have driven them to well over 150,000 miles and no major issues. This Xterra another story. Never again .

The cracked radiator caused me to have my transmission to be replaced. cracked radiators leaking coolant into the transmission, when it mixes with the transmission fluid it creates irreversibly damages everything around it.
