I purchased this truck brand new. It had just rolled off the truck 3 days prior. After getting it home I was showing it to a friend and noticed the uneven gaps between the tailgate and body. Upon closer inspection I noticed that the right side which was the wider gap was also resting directly on top of the taillight and was already leaving rub marks. It also binds I guess you say on the latch when you open it up, kind of like when a seatbelt or something gets caught when you close it in your door. What's strange also is that the dealership has another that came in with the same problem only the gap is on the left side. The dealership is trying to locate another one for me but there's none local. I do want the same color and trim. There's several out of state. I've never heard of such a problem and to have two at the same dealership! What are the odds? Is this a frequent problem with Nissan? Don't they have quality control? I'm very upset cause it took me forever to decide on the color and then to find it.
