rust and paint bubbles on boby/tailgate rust and paint bubbles on boby/tailgate

I started to notice rust forming on my rear bumper of my 2014 Xterra Pro4X about a year ago. I only used my car 6 months of the year ( its in covered storage 6 mo's) and I didn't address the issue until just recently. I took it to the dealer that I bought in from in Ft Lauderdale Florida. They took pictures and emailed them off to someone, and then I had to go back again within a 2 hour window when the "head honcho" was there to inspect it in person. Two weeks later and still no answer but the service guy said it would likely be dismissed as an "environmental" issue and not covered under warranty. Its RUST!!! I live in Florida, and yes, I go to the beach because its Florida and that's what Floridians do. I bought a sport utility vehicle. Am I not supposed to take it outside? To the beach? In the rain? Expose it to the environment?? Am I not able to take it off road if I want. Its not been off road yet and its rusting already.

So,I wonder, is there another kind of rust??? Factory rust?, or perhaps storage rust. Really!!!??? The car is two years old.

I see on forums that I am not alone here. I'll never buy another Nissan.

rust and paint bubbles on boby/tailgate rust and paint bubbles on boby/tailgate rust and paint bubbles on boby/tailgate rust and paint bubbles on boby/tailgate

Wow...I just bought this X-Terra brand NEW in July 2015. It was left over on the lot. I noticed the rust and paint bubbles on the tailgate about two months ago. I washed them, dried them and applied the paint stick. I hand washed my vehicle today and found over 100 rust dots everywhere on the body... I've only owed it for six months!!!!!!!!!

This is outrageous! I'll be filling a complaint and if need be, I will be contacting a lawyer. Definitely not worth the $41,000 I paid. Did I mention that I also purchased the rust proofing package?? ...Ridiculous...

2014 Nissan Xterra Pro 4X. 4l V6 with 6 speed manual transmission. 11500km

We purchased this vehicle brand new for my wife in July 2014. My wife uses it to go to work, back and forth. Very little mileage is placed on it and it has never been abused. Just finished washing the vehicle today and noticed multiple rust spots and paint bubbles with rust spots on the rear tailgate.

It doesn't appear to be just on the surface as you can see the paint lifted where the rust spots are starting.
