The gauges have been lit since I bought the car at 156,000 miles and the previous owner's advice was to simply ignore it. But I must admit that it creates unnecessary preoccupation about the mechanical stability of my vehicle.

Check Engine and Check Oil Lights always stay on. Have replaced the Oil Level Switch, Computer and Dash Cluster. Dealer has worked on the car twice with no fix.
