WAITING FOR DANGER RECALL FROM GM, SEE IF THEY CARE. MU

An update on the windshield trim...another piece flew off while driving, in normal weather conditions, at 65mph. This was the trim piece that went across the bottom of the windshield.

Noticed in the spring that the trim around my windshield started to shrink...popping off at the top. tried everything...forcing it back into place, glue, prayer. never would fit right. The driving down I-95 in a pretty bad storm (50mph+ winds) and the molding just blew the f off of the car. gone! both sides! I figure if it's not leaking and there aren't any problems emanating from this that I'm not going to bother. Looking at GM's track record for plastics, it's a good probability that if I do replace them, they'll just shrink up and fall off again.

Both sides of the windshield molding came off and had to be replaced. It made it so water was able to get on the inside of the windshield. The repair shop said they couldn't just replace one side, so it's just as expensive to have only one side come out.
