problem #4

Alero 2.2L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 100,280 miles

Not able to operate the window on the driver side which is a great inconvenience. Also costly.

Alero GL2 v-6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 27,500 miles

The second of what will eventually be three window regulator replacements. Covered by standard GM warranty so I don't know what the out-of-pocket costs would be if not covered.

Alero GL2 v-6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 23,000 miles

First window regulator failed after owning the car about 5 or 6 months. Covered by the standard 3year/36,000 mile GM warranty. At the time, I did not know that two others would fail including the lastest failure just last week-end.

Alero GL2 v-6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 33,500 miles

This is the third window regulator that has failed since I brought the car (used with 20,000 miles) on it about 15 months ago. Thankfully it is still under warranty and if the other one goes while under warranty, I will hopefully not have to put any $ out of pocket towards yet another fix.
