I have a 1995 Oldsmobile Aurora that had the plastic fuel rail cracked. They said I would have to bring it in and have the whole rail replaced. The estimate on the replacement was: $295 for the fuel rail and about $175 for labor. I ended up fixing the problem with some 5/8 fuel line that I purchased for around $4. I haven't had any problems in the past year with it leaking, but I am scared that the other plastic tubes could break at any time. A friend just E-mailed me about the report you had on msnbc and I saw where you reported 123 cases. I would think that number will grow.
