While driving about 64 mph tread on rear driver's side tire came off, taking bumper with it. Driver was able to maintain control of vehicle. Tire size P205/70R15. Replacement tire on a 1995, Oldsmobile, Silhouette. Tire mileage about 5,000. Dot # W2mo F8A 138.

Tread peeled from tire on I-95 North of jacksonville, fl. Second tire developed large bubble within two weeks, and had to be replaced. Front two tires were then replaced as a safety precaution. Tire expense: $298. Estimate of repair to van from tire tread $1464. Luckily, no injuries resulted. Three persons in car at time, including 11 year old girl.( dot number: Tire size: 205/70/15 )
