About These NHTSA Complaints:
The NHTSA is the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints can be spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem. See the Back button — blue bar at the very top of the page — to explore more.
February 2000, 60,000 miles on vehicle. Started leaking oil at about 55,000, kept putting oil in it and fixed the seals. Didnt take care of the problem. Took it to dealer that I bought it from, they admitted a problem with the make of car. They wanted $800 to fix it. After complaining enough we paid only $300. Now June of 2001. 1 year and 4 months, and 30,000 miles later, it is leaking again. Started three weeks ago, and now it is leaking a lot just like before. I will be calling the dealership in the morning. And I will be throwing a fit till its paid for then im getting rid of the car. There needs to be something done about this. People can't afford dishing out this type of money for something that is cryslers fault that they are hiding behind. Please help.
