Should have a file on record, 1999 Plymouth Breeze shifted out of park, with engine turned off, and no key in ignition, drifted backwards, ripped front passenger door off, nearly ran over two children in the street. Called Chrysler customer service they advised no recall on gear shift will not pay for repair. Repaired car filed complaint, 1 year later, received a card that gear shift is a major recall, sent card and proof of repair in to Chrysler, they refused to take any action, called Chrysler customer service they told me we refused before we refusing you again, even if it is recalled.. I know why the are in financial trouble with customer service the way they are. My total for door and shifter came to 1300, the shifter was alone 235,00 or so.
