heat gauge keeps showing overheating (needle at half to three quarters). Needle should read at no more than one-third from left ("cold"). Changed the 195f thermostat for another 195f thermostat. No change. Then installed a 180f thermostat. Still no change. Made sure the radiator was full (with half anti-freeze). It was. I think it might be a short somewhere forcing the heat gauge to give the high reading. Possibly a radiator flush would make a difference? At a loss at what to do? Suggestions?
