Vehicle fire nar 1/21/2003 5 minutes after the consumers son parked the vehicle, it caught on fire. After the fire, the consumer learned of a recall regarding a potential fire.

Consumer received recall 002V68, however dealer stated it would be 3-5 weeks before repairs could be made due to lack of parts.

Vehicle is leaking fuel. Consumer has contacted dealer in reference to recall 00V268000; dealer indicated this vehicle was not affected by recall due to VIN. However, consumer's vehicle was experiencing same type of problems as listed in recall. Dealer and manufacturer were refusing to perform recall repairs.
