While driving, the consumer was directed onto another lane of traffic. A vehicle hit the consumer from behind without warning. The passenger's side front seat collapsed forward and the driver and passenger side air bags deployed. The consumer sustained neck and back injuries and was transported by ambulance to the hospital. Multiple collisions, non-family member driving car. Driver had an epileptic seizure and blacked out. Apparently accelerated the mini van and rear ended a Dodge Ram pickup truck twice, and then ran into a telephone pole. Both air bags deployed. Driver wakened from accident. The right front passenger's seat, however, was up against the dashboard after the accident. Chrysler sent out an engineer to look at seat. It was pinned against the dashboard and will not move. Ypulera alrikas collision center was returning vehicle to consumer when they hit something that pushed in the front end of vehicle. When consumer saw vehicle the passenger's front seat was only 4" away from the dash. Also, consumer cannot open glove box due to impact. The front seat sliding mechanism released the seat.
