G. the side window on our minivan shattered while the vehicle was parked in our driveway. The front windows were down, so there was not heat build-up in the vehicle. The police came and reported that it looked as if it had just shattered out from the inside. Since nobody was inside the van, it had to have happened on its own. Also, we asked our dealer about this, and he said that there have been Plymouth vans like ours around town that have had the windows just shatter on their own due to this solar glass that is being used. Our dealer also said that Plymouth hasn't recalled any of the vehicles, and I don't feel that is right. What if my daughters had been sitting inside when it shattered..it could have been a tragedy. I hope Plymouth will take care of this before someone does get seriously injured. Also, being a family of limited income due to high medical expenses, this is not what we expected when we invested in a new vehicle.
