Voyager 6-cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 81,000 miles
1999 Plymouth Voyager SE purchased new in 99. 82000 miles @ 90% highway. Transmission started slipping badly. Repair cost $2000. Contact at Chrysler andrew miller no help.quote from local mechanic " these are know for torque converters going bad." From the looks of the complaints on the net that is true. No transmission should have to be rebuilt this early. We have had all scheduled and reccomended transmission services performed per owners manuel. Defective product without any help from manufaturer. Also had to replace shocks and struts for $500 mrch 2002 with only 65K mile.defective. Had struts replaced once before under warranty!!
