While my 02 aztec is in park and car is started I am unable to take out of park to start driving, I must push button on gear shift a number of times before it will finally go into gear. This happens randomly with no apparent pattern or reason, although when car is driven frequently it appears less. There is a clicking sound coming from top of steering column when I am attempting to put into gear.

Had to replace 5 wheel bearings ac condensers rear latch does not unlatch at times dealer said they put on a stronger spring still only works half the time. Transmission went out at 70,000 driver door gets out of line because of hinge bending.
