Intake manifold snapped, causing the vehicle not to have any acceleration. Cause unknown. Dealer notified. The consumer states that while driving the vehicle in the parking lot, it started to hesitate w/loss of acceleration. The upper intake manifold went out and caused the anti-freeze to mix w/oil, may have damaged the engine, however the mechanic believes it may be fine. Back in 1995 the consumer said that there was another vehicle (same make/model) in the shop with upper intake manifold problems that ruined the engine.

Upper intake manifold (plastic) cracked around heat riser tube allowing antifreeze to leak into the lower intake and into the cylinders of the engine resulting in a very expensive repair.

Intake monifold is made from plastic. After a time manifold warped, causing water and oil to enter engine cylinders, causing engine to malfunction. Dealer has been notified.
