I purchased a GM certified 2000 Pontiac Bonneville in May 2002. Since that time I have had to replace 3 window regulators in the vehicle, one for the drivers door and one each for the back doors. This seems to be quite excessive for a vehicle that is only 5 years old & has less than 80K miles on it. Further, I have a small child so I can count on one hand the number of times that I have lowered the rear windows. I am confident that this is not a wear-and-tear issue, since I have replaced both regulators with GM parts and as I stated seldom roll the windows down. I have noted an approximate date for the first incident below. The most recent replacement was in August 2005.
