The rear floor and up under the driver seat is soaking wet. The previous owner told us that this only occurred during hard rains; however, it seems to be wet when it rains a little or a lot. We have not been able to get it dry since my son bought it two weeks ago. The previous owners were unable to find leak and we cannot find any evidence of where it is coming in. Suggestions?

Our car has been holding water in the trunk (seems to be around the spoiler area). If will hold water for weeks. You go to open the trunk and the water which has been inside the trunk will pour onto the contents in the trunk or you! We have had to the dealer three times. First two times at the dealer, we were told that they would fix this by having their leak expert (outside company) come on site and repair. After the second trip and the trunk still leaked, the service department did tell my husband that they had other complaints with this model!

WTF I have the trunk thing but thats just when i open the trunk water drips off
the upright trunk.
the real problem in mine is inside the car. standing water on the floor. almost 2 gallons of water soaked up. went to the dealer and said it was disconnected sun roof drainage they apparently "fixed" the problem and ran it under the water test machine but... it still leaks. the car was used though and didnt know if the sun roof was aftermarket and installed improperly
I hope i didn't get screwed
the car drives so nicely and is easy to drive

Water leaks into the trunk after a heavy rain. When the trunk is opened, the water leaks in. Not sure where the flaw is causing the leak, but it is annoying....

Just a real pain in the butt. Trunks are very spacious in the Bonneville, but it does absolutely no good.

Had the same water leak in the trunk as describrd by others. Took 4 trips to the dealership before the problem was found and over 15 shop days. Turned out to be a body seam that wasn't welded properly. Maybe this will help other owners

Am getting fed up trying to fix this, it shouldn't take a college degree to figure it out but the water just continually shows up. GM has no clue either.

I noticed the carpet was getting a wet stain in the trunk and picked up the mat and there was about 6 inches of water in the wheel well. It had to be vaccumed out. There is no plug hole in it either.

The water leaks into the back floor mats and soaks the wires that control the 3 doors and windows except the drivers. Those three do not work anymore. Estimate of cost is over $400.
