I have had my care in the shop for over a week and still not fixed. My car died on the road and had a check engine light, at the shop they stated the 1st cylinder was not firing. That is where it started and they have replaced wires, plugs coil pack and modules and still not solution. I am pulling my hair out and ready to take it to another shop.

This car is the biggest piece of sh*t i have ever owned. a while ago, the car died and wouldn't start back up.it was in the shop for over two weeks, they replaced everything that they thought it was and charged me out the ass, replaced ignition, all kinds of sensors. it ran okay for like 2 days, the ck engine light came back on, went off and came back on the code was for a misfire in the 1st cylinder. the car dies in the middle of the street wouldn't start for like a half hour i tried, all gauges are okay, i have it towed to a mechanic, it starts right back up in the morning. he cant find anything wrong, no ck engine lights or anything
Update from Jun 6, 2009: This is a re post...I found the problem. its a defective part that has not been recalled. something inside the module that goes bad and cannot be replaced by itself, there for you have to spend $500 over and over till you get rid of the car. Good luck with that one

Experienced sudden engine shutoff while driving along at 50mph. Coasted to a stop, turned key to start position, but ignition switch would not engage. Towed car home where over a period of days tried starting car. Sometimes car would start, run a few seconds and kill. Other times engine would turn over but not start. Eventually dumped car.
