The motors for the windows in my vehicle are an engineering defect. The motor for the drivers window went out. I've never had a motor for a window go out before however I know it does happen and I do use this window probably once a week or so. The problem is that I use my car for work only and all my children are grown. Both back window motors have also gone out and total for the back to windows they have been rolled down 5 times only by accident when I was intending to roll down the drivers window. At $350 to repair the back windows have been made to stay permanently shut. I don't think it would be very safe to have all the windows made to not roll down but it is agrivating that I should have to pay for their poor design.
