The tire explosively failed due to sidewall rupture at approx. 60 mph on a portion of I-820 in N. richland hills, tx. It a miracle that a major accident did not happen as a result of the tire failure and subsequent loss of control of the vehicle.( dot number: 48W9 6bdr tire size: P245/50zr1 )
