"service airbag" message and light appears on in instrument cluster. Dealer disassembled steering wheel and column. Cleaned electrical connections, resecured wire connection, and cleared error code at 88,002 miles. Within 1 day of repair service message and light were on again.

My daughter was involved in a car crash were someone made a left turn in front of her. Her new Pontiac G5 hit the other car head on about 25-30 miles an hour. The airbag never deployed which allowed her head to hit the steering wheel. She had to be taken to the hospital were several test were taken. She is luck that she has only minor neck problems. The car had over $4500 in damage and needs new frame rails.
