My Pontiac was born a lemon - no doubt about it. But, this issue is fairly new and it started at the beginning of the year. Whenever I have to 'get on it,' the car still takes off beautifully - however....when I left off the accelerator (literally - foot off the pedal), the engine starts to automatically rev and then let off. Literally feels like my car is jumping to get back to the pedal to the medal.

I don't understand - what is wrong????
