I GO TO PUT THE CAR FROM PARK TO DRIVE AND IT ACTS LIKE IT WANTS TO TAKE OFF. WEIRD STUFF BUT IT DOESN'T HAPPEN ALL THE TIME. I MEAN MY FOOT ISN'T EVEN ON THE GAS AND TAKE OFF!!!! I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT COULD BE. GRRRR.

this problem has happened 4 different times in the past three years. it seems it occurs when i go very slow or stop and then when i continue to step on the gas the car accelerates at a very, very rapid speed. it stops immediately when i step on the brake but i feel this is definitely a dangerous occurrence. i have had three different mechanics check it out one being a gm dealership and no one can tell me what the problem is!!!! i hope you can help.
